First Words

Let me say that when you work with me, you are pretty much getting all of me… that is, I will share whatever knowledge or experience I have to assist you in your journey and provide you with input – if you want it!

Yes, working together, let’s talk about your purpose and passion, the mission and vision of your business, if your current marketing is serving you well, how your book writing is coming along, etc. But know that we can also cover topics ranging from, let’s say, my experience creating and dissolving my S-corp; what’s required to self-publish a book; what’s it like to live and run a business in Sedona; or, what made me go back to school full-time at age 40 to obtain my Masters in Social Work. Due to my eclectic educational background, career adventures, and life experience, I’m delighted and honored to help you address whatever’s on your mind.

Coaching

If after our complimentary 30-minute consultation we agree to work together, please note:

  • Our coaching sessions can take place in-person or via phone and/or Skype or Zoom. 
  • The charge is $70 for a 60-minute session. Contact me for rates for special projects.

Computer Training

If you’re just starting out learning a particular computer program, I suggest you plan on a 2 – 3 hour  session.

But if you’re looking to dive deeper into a program you already know, or just have some questions, 1 hour may be sufficient.

  • Our training sessions can take place in-person or via phone and/or Skype or Zoom. 
  • The charge is $70/hour.

Business | Marketing | Writing Projects

If after our free 30-minute consultation we agree to work together on  your WordPress website, Constant Contact email marketing campaigns, other marketing collateral like PowerPoint slideshows, brochures, one sheets, etc.,  or writing project, there are options as to how we can work together.

  1. In-person.
  2. Virtually via phone or Skype/Zoom.

AND

  1. I can do all of the work for you.
  2. We can do the work together: side-by-side, one-to-one.

If you’re up for it, you’ll be learning WordPress and how to solve problems yourself as you do the work. This will help empower you to maintain your own living website, keeping it up-to-date and fresh. It will be up to you how much you want to learn and be involved.

How Our Sessions Work

You can work on your entire business, marketing, or  writing project in-person, virtually, or a combination of both if you like.

  • The charge is $70/hour, paid in one-hour blocks. Unused time (in 15-minute increments) is banked for your next session.
  • We work in-person or via phone and/or Skype or Zoom. 
  • Appointments are booked along the way.
  • You’ll be learning as you do the work.
  • My undivided attention is yours and you can ask as many questions as you’d like.
  • I will meet you where you are at and help you move forward – you are not alone!

General Info re: In-person or Virtual Sessions

Please take note when we’ll be involved in the following adventures:

  • WordPress – If you’ve already installed WordPress on your site, then I’ll need to be added as an Administrator. This will enable me to log in to your website’s back end and see how things are going and handle more complex issues directly. If you’re at ground zero and need to register a domain name, purchase hosting, have WordPress installed, etc., let’s talk about that.
  • Constant Contact – I’ll set up your account first. Then if you want me to, I’ll configure your account settings, tailor your “Welcome” email to new subscribers, customize the “Join My Mailing List” Form, etc. You can choose to see how these tasks are done, or just pass and I’ll handle it all.
  • Software Training – You’ll need to have the software you want to learn (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel) installed on the computer you’re using or be able to access it online.
  • Writing Project – You’ll need to send me your work electronically so that I have it in front of me when we’re ready to discuss it, and enable me to help inspire and coach you.

  3. I will send you an email confirming your appointment, payment, and any necessary prep work for our upcoming time together.

Note: Get the most out of your time and money by booking a half-day personalized retreat for coaching and to work together building your WordPress website, creating your Constant Contact marketing campaigns or your other business, marketing, and writing projects. However, they are offered for on-site work only and in one continuous session.
